Tea Party Tuesday?!

I think I found my photographic calling y'all.  TEA PARTIES!!

I had so much fun last night at this photo shoot.  Check it out!

There are quite a few more for those interested at my photography blog.
And I finally got some of the wedding ones up:

And for those of you who are following me because I claimed to be a writer and you don't give a hootenany about all these pictures I keep making you look at, well, writing isn't paying the bills... yet.  Not that photography is, but it's very close to helping out!  And I can't help but be a little excited/enjoy feedback from my lovely blogging friends as I try to start this up and figure out if it's all actually going to happen. (I should be meeting with my accountant later this week or next to get all the taxes and legal stuff in order!)

Fear not fellow writers!!!  The writing fairy did have to visit some other people over the weekend, but she told me I didn't have to wash the sheets in my spare room, for she would be returning soon!
I will make a better effort this week to visit your blogs and actually comment, as opposed to being the lurker that I am.  So sorry for my lurkiness!

  1. Those are amazing Kristin! And thanks for loaning the writing fairy out. She's been very helpful over her.

  2. These are beautiful. I love the first one -- they're so cute!

  3. I love the photographs! The tea party looks so cute, and the wedding pictures are wonderful.

  4. Great pictures, Kristin!
That bride's dress is beautiful--love the vintage feel to it!

  5. those wedding ones seem a bit to darkish and to gloomy for the occasion.

  6. Kristin, don't ever feel like you have to apologize for "lurking."

I wrote about this last week, but lurking is the same as reading... only the one word has negative connotations. That isn't fair to someone who isn't doing anything wrong except reading what another has written. If my words were in a magazine or book, I would never consider those who read to be "lurkers."

I realize that the blogging world contains the obvious potential to interact, but at the end of the day bloggers are writers. And readers are still readers.

On a different note... Your tea party pic is very cool! Hopefully you read this as the compliment I intend, but it would be an exceptional cover to a birthday card.

  7. I give plenty of hootenany about these pictures, and your other creative side. :) I enjoy looking at your shots and admire your keen eye. I'm happy for you!!

  8. Wow. Gorgeous angle on the bride! You go girl!
