Back from China!

Boy it's good to be back home. But this timezone thing is an issue. I've just spent the last couple weeks in Hong Kong and China, a fourteen hour time difference for me. Basically, when we're going to bed here in the central time zone, they're waking up over there. Total night and day. Going there wasn't too bad actually, but trying to readjust now that I'm back (head cold and all) is proving to be difficult (even with the help of NyQuil). Thankfully, my boss is taking this week off for Thanksgiving, so I have a while to reset my body clock and get back into the swing of things.

I haven't even scratched the surface looking through my pictures from the trip, but here's one I couldn't help but edit. One of the most amazing sights I've ever ever ever seen in my entire life. And I couldn't resist giving it a vintage look.

I can't wait to share my experiences from Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, and Beijing! It was quite the trip!

  1. Welcome back home, Kristin! :D I've heard it can be hard to transition back to the normal timezone, and hopefully you'll readjust soon enough. Also, that is by far one of the best images of the Great Wall of China I've seen. Can't wait to see the rest and hear more about your trip!

  2. WOW! That must have been one life-changing trip. I'd love to visit China one day. Welcome back, Kristin!

  3. amazing! can't wait to see more pics.

  4. YAY!! I can't wait to see more photos from the trip and hear more deets!
